Overseas shipping input?

I have a 45 lb Rotel I need to ship to Switzerland, USPS has the best rate by far, but never used them for overseas.. anyone have any input or advice on this? do I need a customs form with this? Thanks in Advance, Chad

I shipped a preamp via USPS to Australia a year ago and had no problems. I've also shipped via UPS to Italy this year and it was fine. It can be a little pricey, but I've never had an issue. Good luck!

I think a lot of this depends on the reliability of the receiving Post Office. IIRC, USPS hands off the package to them. Even when tracking and insurance is involved you would still be at the mercy of both how efficient and how willing to help the foreign post is.
I might be wrong on this. But another consideration is what is going on in the destination country. In the Middle East, it is Ramadan so many postal services are going to be DREADFULLY slow. So don't pay Express post and get stuck in a situation like that.For Sale 2019:
