Considering buying a pair of refurbed LSi15's

I am considering the purchase of a pair of refurbished LSi15's off of ebay from Polk. My only concern with purchasing these speakers is shipping. I am looking for some comments as to the condition of these speakers when they arrived at your homes. Are these speakers being delivered completely intact? Are there any horror stories out there about shipping damage? Thanks.

    If there were horror stories, they'd be all over here. My own experience was good, and that's what you'll read from pretty much everyone on here who's bought from the Polk e-bay store. When there have been issues (very rare, it seems), Polk has made them right. I'd say you can buy from there with complete confidence.

    Even if there is a problem, Polk CS is absolutely first rate and will step up. Buy with confidence from them and welcome to the club!

    People say the refurbs look like brand new speakers. It's a great deal for the 15's. The 15's are awesome speakers... I have a pair.:wink:

    Just make sure you power them properly and your good to go.

    I'll just be using them as surrounds. I was just worried about the shipping. Hate the thought of having something as large and fragile as these speakers shipped to me. I will be powering them with a Parasound A51. It looks real nice sitting next to my JC-1's. It's been just sitting there for 6 months waiting for me to finally start assembling the HT side of my system. The 2 Channel side has been keeping me and my wallet really busy as of late.     My refurbished LSi15s arrived 2 weeks ago from Polk in perfect condition. Packaged like brand new. Not a mark on them. Shipping was fast - only one week from California to New Jersey (via freight).

    Only thing I can think of is crossing the border to pick them up? Polk ebay does not ship outside US.
