    I saw a pair very much like that today with no markings other than Polk on them. The drivers were to small, maybe 5 inches or smaller woofers and a 3/4" fabric dome. Wasn't really sure what they were, either. Definitely not R50s, which I do believe have larger bass drivers?

    OK, a quick perusal of the Polk archive would say those are R40s. Like the 50s but with the smaller bass drivers (5 1/4" x 2).
