Up for sale a pair of Polk Audio RTi A9s on Black finish.

These speakers were purchased on March 21st, 2012. They have not been registered at Polk's website. They are "A" Stock inventory, boxes and packing material are still available for transportation.

They have been installed on my dedicated HT room, and recently that I purchased the same speakers on cherry. They are in brand new condition, there is absolutely nothing wrong with them and of course, they are available to be auditioned at my home.

Local pick-up is highly recommend due to the size/weight of these babies. However, I am willing to drive a bit to meet the buyer (if necessary). Of course, shipping is always a possibility, but the buyer will need to pay for shipping cost.

Price for this set is $900.00 (local pickup) and they are located at 30024 (Georgia).

Here is a pic of the actual speakers at my HT.

Actually, I built the AV Console myself. It was really hard to find a console with enough space to accommodate all my gear. Or, the ones available were so expensive, that I didn't even consider buy one. So long story short, I found a really good thread with ton of information on how to build one and I decided to give it a try.

Good eye! Yes, the center channel speaker is a CSi A6 on black. I will be listing that speakers as well in few days, but first my new CSi A6 on cherry must arrive at home.

If you have more questions or want additional information please let me know.

That is one sweet setup! I don't live to far away from you (between Gainesville and Dawsonville). I'm working out of town on a long-term job assignment, but when I make it home we need to get together over some cold ones and do some listening. I had a very similiar HT setup with RTi9s as my mains, two A6 centers, RTi10 sorrounds, RTi8 rear sorrounds, two DSW PRO 600 and one DSW 400 as my subs. All the speakers were individually amped. I got into two channel and sold all of my HT gear, but I often miss the HT rig.

Thanks! 100% with you on the bigger TV. If everything turns well, I should be able to add a projector/fixed screen some time during 2013.
    Nice!!!

    Thanks!

That will be really cool. It is always nice to receive feedback/tips from a fellow Polk forum member. So, what gear do you have in your two channel setup?

Very nice! But do you think you "really" have enough sub power in that room! lol

Seems like you're just changing wood finishes, black to cherry? Is matching the subs that important? Can't identify with that.

Great work on the storage unit BTW! I think people here spend "way" too much on those units. Doing it yourself probably left cash over for more important purchases?

    GLWTS!

Oh no, I need more bass in my room.............ROLF.

You are correct, I'm just changing the finish on the front speakers/center channel from black to cherry. See, I really love the RTi A9 serie, my original idea was to have the whole front stage in black. But, I took advantage several weeks ago of the special price on the PB13-Ultras form SVS. Hence, I ended up with the subs on cherry and now just matched the front speakers with the same finish.

Yeah, I tried to saved money for a projector, but I pulled the trigger on going with dual subs. So, the PJ is a 2013 project.

    Cheers!

Well my system in GA consists of a KABUSA modded Technics SL-1200 MK2 turntable with a Soundsmith modded Dynavector 20XH cartridge, Denon 2900 SACD/DVDA player, Anthem Pre 1L with modded caps and Phillips Miniwattt 6922 tubes, a Jolida JD-9 phono pre with RCA Blackplate 12AX7 tubes, a Panamax Power conditioner, Anthem Amp-2 with Phillips Miniwatt 6922 tubes, Polk LSiM-703s in cherry finish, a REL R-328 sub, mix of Audioquest/JW Audio speaker cables and ICs, and Pangea power cables.

I have a second two channel system in my work apartment in MS that consists of Consanance CD-120 Balanced CDP, Denon 2910 SACD/DVDA player, YS Audio Symphonies Plus R Pre with Raytheon Blackplate 12AX7 and Mullard 6X4 tubes, Monster Power 1600 power conditioner, Anthem Amp1 with Sylvania Triple Mica Blackplate 5751, RCA Cleartop 12AU7s, and Winged C EL34 tubes, SDA-SRS2s with mods, Analysis Plus Oval 9 speaker cable, JW Audio Signature ICs, and Pepsters power cables.

When I finish the job I will be combining bits and pieces of the two systems together and assemble a garage/man-cave system with the leftovers.

What special price was that? The outlet? I get their emails and I'm ready to drop some coin but need a sale. Was I asleep at the wheel again!? Looks great. I do like the black and cherry look though but I understand.

I guess your are asking the special price on the SVS PB13-Ultra, right? If yes, they reduced the price on the Cherry finish to 1,599.00 and then I used the repeat customer discount. So, it was almost a $500 discount (in total) on my second Ultra.

I will share with you a pic (via PM) of my setup now in cherry, so you will be able to compare both........

To be honest, the real wood finish on both speakers is really amazing. I both the blacks originally due to the fact that I like that color on my speakers. But as mentioned above, the deal on the subs made me change my mind on the finish. Hopefully, I will not change the subs to black in the near future or you will have me here selling a pair of cherry speakers...........LOL.
