A seller that I have bought other speakers from in the past has some Polk's he wants to get rid of. Right now I have seen pics of a pair of RTA12's with Peerless tweets and original stands. The cabs look to be in nice condition. The passives are a little bubbly. He says all drivers work as they should. Whats a fair price? He also has a pair of RT1000 and 3000's for sale.

$125. Seems pretty cheap to me.

Thanks! Not sure what he is asking yet. $125 seems reasonable to me. $250 though.....thats getting into SDA territory.

Yeah, if they come with original stands, then they must be the original RTA 12's, which, though excellent, aren't the best of the RTA 12 series. That being said, if they're in good condition, $125 would be a steal. If everything is in good condition, $175 isn't bad either.

    Good luck.

I agree with Bottom Feeder, the original RTA 12's are not the most desirable. They have different Xovers that don't allow the 2 MW's to play different parts of the freqency range. They won't image as well as the 12B's or 12C's (the best of the line).

$125 sounds like a good deal. If they're excellent I might pay up to $175, but not much more.
