Hope to hook up LSi15's in a couple of days

Im now driving back to Illinois with a pair of LSi15's in the back seat of my car. My Adcom GFA-555ii should be there by the time I arrive.

After I get some under-the-floor measurements done, I'm going to get some new speaker cable from Frank at Signal Cable. But I will sure want to hook things up in a temporary fashion before I get those measurements done and that cable in. So...

The posts on the back of the LSi's look different that those on the 10b's, for which I just use bare ends of Radio Shack stereo cable.

Is it possible to use this wire on the LSi's? If so, how? Do the posts on the LSi's unscrew somehow that I'm not seeing?

Thanks very much.

Shouldn't be a problem. The LSi's have a hole in the middle of the binding post. Unscrew the top piece till you can thread the wire through that hole and then screw it back down. Done

Thanks Ender there are two pairs of posts. Does it matter which I use?

Do you have the brass jumper that connects both sets of posts? If not you will need a short run of wire to connect to the other set of binding posts your speaker wire isnt in like below

I don't have the jumpers. Should I order a set of these from Signal Cable, also?

Meanwhile, I'm guessing I can just use a short piece of speaker wire?

    Thanks.

Yes, a short piece of wire will work perfectly.

And you could either have Frank make you jumpers or have him make you bi-wire speaker cables either works
