F/X Wireless for 11.2 setup?

I'm currently running a 9.2 system & BD movies sound incredible. I have the capability of expanding to a 11.2 system with my Yamaha RX-A3010 AVR. Just curious on your thoughts about using the F/X wireless instead of adding a pair of speakers to the rear wall. I would definetely save me the hassle associated with hooking up another pair of speakers (very long run thru drop ceiling) a big pain in the arse. I don't think timbre matching is too critical for the rear or front presence speakers. I have Def Tech for my front presence & KEF's for the rest of the system. No issues with the Def Techs along with the KEF's. I'm sure the F/X would be the same with blending in. Thoughts.

I have played around with it in a system to make a 3.1 into "7.1" where I had no intention of running wires. I am not a huge surround sound person, but it seems to work well for movies. I have had many of the same issues as others with the auto turn off feature and the sound that goes along with that (this is more of an issue with TV where there is very little sent to the rear channels and you do have to be careful about other 2.4 Ghz networks). I think somebody posted recently about Polk having a replacement transmitter, but I have not checked into that.

I've read about that issue & the new transmitter Polk sends out seems to correct the problem. I wonder if it's an all together newer version that fixes the issue."2 Channel & 11.2 HT "Two Channel:Magnepan LRSSchiit Audio Freya S - SS preConsonance Ref 50 - Tube preParasound HALO A21+ 2 channel ampBluesound NODE 2i streameriFi NEO iDSD DAC Oppo BDP-93KEF KC62 sub Home Theater:Full blown 11.2 set up.
