After I looked at those Vandersteen 2ce signatures these seem to be the ones I would want to be my primary 2-ch speakers. With saying that I'll probably be keeping the Bose 601s and the JBL bookers which could go to any other room. Now's the question, the guy says to get the fullest out of these speakers you would want to bi-wire them. Which would have spade ends at the speaker and no mechanical end if they go through the selector or bananas if they have to go directly into the Adcom. Is it at all possible to do this it seems that your only going to be twisting the ends anyway no matter what device they are wired into.
Again this is purely hypothetical and any option would not crush me in any way.Losing the selector is no big deal I could always put the JBLs on zone 2 of the Yamaha rx-666 avr .So I know I have options I only want to know if biwireing is possible through a speaker selector.

Never tried it. But can't imagine it sounding good anyway. Why not just run 2 cables from each post of the amp and be done with it ? Personally, I see no reason to bi-wire them anyway, unless the guy ment bi-amp, even then I would hook them straight up with a single run of cable to that adcom.

He definately said bi-wire. if there was any way to bi-wire a pair of speakers that's the thing to do according to him.Again going the usual way straight 2 wire is obvious and you must jump out the unused terminals. Now what I'm saying is when you bring those wires back to either an amp or selector you can only use twisting on the selector and go w/ the 5-way on the Adcomw/++--It's a pretty passive non powered device, which in incredibly small mind says you could do it and I don't think I'd be losing all that much. What we really need here is someone who's actually tried this and either it worked or it didn't.And I mean worked well. This is still all just a thought.
