Trying to find out how deep the tsi500 are. The polk site shows 14 3/4, but a few places on the net are showing 17 3/4. Did they make them shallower ( I hope) since they first came out maybe?
Thanks for any info!

If your thinking of sandwiching them in then floor standing speakers aren't going to sound good in that application. Just saying is all.
Maybe a tad more detail and we can help you better decide.HT SYSTEM-

Thanks for the response. It' more of a wife factor about looks I was thinking about. The 14" deep will look a little less "HUGE" than the 17" deep. -
We all know about the wife factor my friend. Bottom line is, you want them to not just look good, but also sound good. So it's a matter of choosing the right speaker for the room and application. Know what I'm sayin' ?
If certain rear ported floorstanders are too close to side walls, back walls, you won't get the full effect of their capabilities. I guess in a womans world, 3 inches can make all the difference. :cheesygrin:HT SYSTEM-
