I finally hard-wired the internet in my house, so I no longer need these. they both work great and are pretty customizable. $20 shipped and paypaled for each, USPS priority.

1. A linksys wrt54g flashed with ww drt firmware. I have used this for several years without a problem, These are virtually indestructible.

2. Zyxel MWR102 Travel Router. Lots of different functions. I was using it hardwired to my internet in the bedroom to connect one device hardwired (it has one WAN and one LAN) and also to increase the wireless strength in that end of the. I bought a switch instead because I wanted to just be able to hardwire everything.

Thanks!

rooftop, since the linksys already has the dd-wrt firmware, do you know if I could change the IP etc to be a wireless bridge to my current linksys router? If I could understand how to do that, I could be interested

Yes you can. You can do anything with this router. But for me it was a little complicated. Changing the settings on the linksys isn't that hard. It is set up to be a bridge right now. The trick is that you have to assign it a static IP and then set up your other router correctly. Maybe one of the computer guys can chime in and help us out? I will say that it took me a pretty long time to get it setup right, but then I never touched it for the last couple years. it is super stable.
