Wanted to buy Avatar Blu-ray 3D,was amazed by the differences in price. From as low as about $20. to over $200. Any reason other than greed?

Nope. I believe it went for like 50 when it first came out."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
I haven't seen the 3D version new for sale, I thought that came out as a peomo with Panasonic TV's and there was some kind of dispute about it being released to the general public.Home Theater

Yeah, I got mine (2D Bluray) free with a Panny DMP-BD85 bluray player, it has both Bluray & DVD discs inside. FWIW, I don't "re-watch" movies much more frequently than every 10 years or so. I'll be in good shape when/if I get the urge to watch Avatar again.......(in approx. 8 yrs.)

Got mine with my Panny BDP-215. Stunning clarity on my plasma - much better than the 3D I saw at the theater."Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer
