How does SRS WOW work in car environment? How to tune it?

I have it on my DNX and can't really get how to use it right.
Google gives me a few reviews and some info on it but not much and none apply to car audio, only home audio and headphones.

Here's what I see/know about it based on me playing with it:

In my car it "raises" and "widens" the stage and does absolutely fantastic job there. It also somehow makes my highs clearer and very vivid in a good way but unfortunately it comes at sacrifice of low and lower mid frequencies. Low end looses it's "whooop" and isn't as bass-y as it usually is and lower mids loose it's punch. Kicks sounds kinda dull and thin.

If there's a way to keep my bass/mid-bass the way it is now WHILE raising and widening the stage I'd be the happiest camper but there just isn't enough info online about how to tune SRS WOW properly.

I wouldn't use the 3D mode or Trubass. 3D was designed for headphones, and trubass is for using small speakers or headphones. Using all three modes probably messes up the sound pretty bad so that it is very inaccurate.

I would only use Focus if you still want to use WOW. Keep in mind, it is still an artificial way of elevating the stage.I bet that it does this by cutting the lower mids and midbass. But the WOW program isn't fixing any of the response peaks for the mids/upper mids/highs. So it probably gives you an extremely bright and thin sound. Its a bandaid solution, you can get better results from getting a processor and tuning yourself. Tuning the old fashioned way can make your mids have deep bass while having a high stage that is realistic and full.
