Nice set of "twins". Have any specs for those? It would help your sale.

Which reminds me, I have to pick up my KA-7300 from the repair guy. Some minor relay problems solved. Also a nice unit, less powerful but a twin power supply design, with, supposedly one of Kenwood's better integrated Pre-amps in there!

Yes it is! It's a little more powerful but has a very similar Dual Power design (not quite as symmetrical as the 7300 but close). Unlike the KA-7100 which simply has dual windings on one transformer, I believe!

If you can get that for little coin. You won't be disappointed!

It's only a 75 watt x 2 integrated. But as you may know those old Kenwood integrateds are underrated for power. They pack a punch at that rating!

Also, some of these older integrateds share some features with the TOTL Kenwood KR 9600 receiver. http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/oldp2-9600rx.gif (They have, for example, the same number and sized Storage caps).

One thing to be careful on with these integrateds is that they use Darlington amp pacs that are no longer available. The pacs have a limited lifespan which is about "now". 30+ years? My tech, however, tells me, that there are "work arounds" to this problem and he has his "sources"!

    Have fun!

Yeah it would be used for mostly headphones at work, and possibly a set of SDA CRS+'s in the future...

You may want to check out your link to specs. I didn't really see hard specs, just a general description of the amp its siblings (closely related models). I'd love to see some real specs! I used to have a KA-8100 myself.

They work great on mine, and the 150 watts is very conservative, the have way more power than my 160 wpc yamaha... I might trade for a nice power amp if u had the right one. :)
