Up for your consideration, one of my Carver SD/A 490t CD players. This is the one I picked up a few months back and had some difficulty with it not reading the CD's, I cleaned the lens (which was filthy) and all is fine. I've been using it in my office system since I bought it, with absolutely no problems after cleaning the lens. It is very clean with some light scratches on the top of the faceplate, and around the CD tray drawer (probably a previous owner had to pry the drawer open prior to replacing the belt). It sounds wonderful, and I have the remote to go with it.
It has a new drive belt for the drawer mechanism. The drawer opens and closes smoothly, all functions work correctly from both the unit and the remote. It has two tested good tubes, and as many of you know, it responds well to tube rolling.
Thanks for looking:

Asking $475.00 plus actual shipping.

That's very neat. Never seen that before.

Yup one of my buddies has one. Really cool and can be used without a preamp. It's got a tubes output... Yep, it has fixed and variable output. Plug it directly into your amp, and away you go. Uses (2) 6DJ8 output tubes. -
A quick bump for a very nice sounding CD player.

Very nice CD player indeed. I switched out the stock tubes in mine with some NOS tubes and it sounds even better now.
