Thoughts or insights welcome!!! home theater

I have just purchased some new home theater equipment and have never owned something like this before. I was just curious as to if anyone has advice for breaking in speakers, settings on the receiver etc to use, wiring tips, placement of the speakers..... anything like that at all that would be beneficial to know would be great and is welcome! I have the Onkyo TX SR309 receiver, 2 R150 bookshelf speakers at back of room, a CS10 center speaker, and 2 TSi300 towers at the front. Any input with tips or what have you would be appreciated.     Congrats on your new system. Not much to breaking in speakers, just play them. Get some decent speaker wire. Set your speakers to large untill you get a sub. Click on Polk University or YouTube for speaker placement. Have fun and welcome to CP.
