i'm a new member here and have just bought my first new system in 40 years so i am not really up on the new innovatations etc.
i have purchased a yamaha rx 573 7.1 ht receiver and two polk audio tsi 100 speakers mainly for audio reasons but will eventually add on for home theatre.can anyone suggest a way to get the best sound possible at a reasonable price that would be suitable for audio and/or ht.
thanks all,
billy

Welcome to the forum. When you upgrade switch to the Polk Monitor line. The Monitor 30's are basically the same speakers you own.

Welcome to Club Polk!
TSI 100s and an entry level Yamaha! hertz..3 is right if you're on a tight budget.
Get some M-60 towers a CS2 center move the TSI 100s to surrounds and get a couple M-30s for s-backs or Polk OWM3s. Then slap a Polk PSW 505 sub in there, at a good price and you're done. Wait for sales, you should be able to get 60s for 260 a pair, CS2 for 100, M-30s for a 100, and the 505 from 200-225. 660+, not bad for a complete 5.1 system. Or you could forgo the M-30s for now and knock off a 100, because you could run the TSI 100s in a 5.1 configuration?
Have a little more cash? Go with TSI-400s, CS20, and OWM3s with the PSW 505.
Have fun putting together your system.
