This is a continued thought about those Vanderseen 2ce I saw earlier today.I just remembered that the way to connect wire to these speakers is w/ a screwdriver and do the old wrap around. I was perplexed at this I know McIntosh does it w/ their amps but not so sure on speakers. The reasoning that was given to me was w/ wire only that's it 1 step and no deveice,no/ bananas,no 5-way no spade lug your adding 1 more piece that's not needed. Now, I do know how to splice ,trim and tighten wires but I thought the 5 way was the way to go and does appear on most newer high end speakers and also on lesser models the old spring tabs .. He also showed me that you had to make your own jumper if all the terminals were not used for bi wireing.

Mac hasn't used screw terminals since the early 90's.
