Hey all, I've been doing some reading lately of the benefits you're bound to get by connecting your speakers to an Amp vs an A/V Receiver and I think I'm going to go for the jump and get this Amplifier: http://shop.emotiva.com/collections/amplifiers/products/xpa2

However, I'm having trouble figuring out how I would get the amp hooked up to the receiver, I've read that you need to use the pre-out on your receiver but I don't get where it would connect to on your amp. Now, mind you I'm knowledgeable on connections such as LFE, RCA, HDMI, connecting speakers, etc, so I know some stuff. But if I connect the amp to the receiver via pre-out, how would I go about connecting my subwoofer as well? (preferred; LFE). The receiver I have is the Onkyo TX-NR717. Here's a picture of the back: http://www.hificorner.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/t/x/tx-nr717__b__rear_n9999x9999.png.jpg

The amp will primarily be used for listening to music in 2 channel powering 2 RTi A7's.

Thanks a lot for any feedback as I'm new to amps completely and am unfamiliar with some of the connections it uses.
Current setup: Harman Kardon HKTS 30BQ

Next setup: Polk RTI A7's
Polk CSi A6
HSU VTF-2 MK4 12" SUB
Undecided on surround
