IC Recommendations

Hello all! I've actually been a Club Polk member for two years now, but this is my first posting (serial lurker here!). I just returned from deployment a couple of weeks ago, and decided to reward myself with some system upgrades. My current equipment includes:
Mains: Polk Audio RTi A7
Center: Polk Audio CSi A6
Rears: Polk Audio RTi A3
Sub: Epik Legend
Receiver: Pioneer Elite SC-68
Universal Player: Oppo BDP-95
CD Player: Marantz CD5003
Amp: Parasound 5250 v.1
I'm looking for some recommendations on interconnects. I've been looking at the Analog Twos from Signal Cable and some Blue Jeans Cable offerings, as they're reasonably priced and have lots of good reviews. Any help with more ICs I should take at look at would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, thanks for your service.I think your on the right track with signal, you might look at the audioquest line.Dan

Agree to all those. Signal Cable is good and you get a discount for being a Club Polk member. There is also a forum member named Pepster who makes custom interconnects for decent prices.
I used Signal Cable Analog Twos, Audioquest G-Snakes and MIT EXp1s. The Analog Two's are a great budget interconnect."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Heck of a deal on some decent IC's -

Darn good! +1, in fact , I got an email from Mike today announcing lower prices( time for an upgrade:cheesygrin:), I have the Sp3 bi-wire and MA1 interconnects and a pair of MA3 balanced cables. -
Thanks for the Morrow Audio suggestion. I'm gonna try out their MA2s and the SUB1 cable. I'll be sure to let you know how the work out.

Ordered a set of Morrow Audio SP2 Biwire, a set of regular SP2, and an MA2 IC. Will post back once I have received and set up.

Sweet you guys I ordered another set of MA3 xlr's to go from my Oppo 95 to my Anthem avm 20, I use the other set from Anthem to amp, the new set will replace (hopefully) my AQ Columbia xlr's which have been synergistic and I hate to mess things up but 60 days to find out ,I say why not . In addition, I also have a GIK monster bass trap on the way to finish off room acoustics on the rear wall. Now guys please adhere to the burn in process for the Morrow's as it will beyond a shadow of a doubt, take up to 400hrs to burn in. A good way is to tune or not tune in on an FM radio station and let the white noise go for days, a good method is 12hrs on, then 30 min of rest and of course listening in there to witness the transformation to sheer bliss!
Enjoy your upgrades! -
Playback - I got the 2 day burn in service that Morrow offers and the MA2 IC's sounded great from the get go. I've probably have another +100 hours on them since and the sound has been pretty consistent. I read his testimonials and white paper about sound quality changing over the break in period, but have not experienced any of that. Supposedly the main break in is more front end loaded, so perhaps the major break in varience was accomodated by the break in service. I will be ordering one more set of MA2's for my surrounds, which go through the Rotel amp. Speaker cables are next.
Those of you who have Morrow speaker cables, did you experience a noticeable AQ improvement? What other speaker cables do you think are comparable? ThanksParasound HCA-2003A & 2205A

I just ordered the Signal Cable balanced ICs. I didn't hook them up yet but they appear to be of excellent quality. I spoke to Frank, the Owner, at Signal Cable and he recommended his standard ICs over the silver ICs for my setup (Benchmark HDR, Parasound A21, Totem Hawk). Nice guy and he didn't try to upsell.
I just recently heard of Morrow via this thread. Would Signal Cable be considered on par with the Morrow MA2 /MA3s? Is it worth it for me to get both and do a comparison or do you think they are similar and results would be negligible. ThanksRig1 - Totem Hawks, Benchmark HDR, Parasound A21, Sonus, Samsung 52 LCD, Audioquest Type4
Rig2 - LFD LE IV Integrated, Harbeth P3ESR, Rega Dac, MF V-Link, IMAC, Audioquest Type4 -
My Morrow SP3 biwire replaced AQ's cv6 non dbs and gr8 in a shotgun configuration and was a major upgrade in my setup. For Ic's the MA3 balanced is more refined than AQ King Cobra and I also find them better balanced from top to bottom than Columbia Xlr both of which are still in my setup. The MA2 rca's I tried didn't have the bass weight of Columbia or King Cobra but did have better tonality and mid range resolution, but depending on your setup may just fit the bill.
