anyone here know where I can get metal poster frames for less than an arm and a leg? for the halibut, (ha ha ha) I went to a local frame shop.. they wanted close to $125 to frame a poster for me.. WTF? I'm in the wrong business that's for sure.. the poster only cost me about $30 so no way am i going to plunk down another $125 for a frame.

so any online places I should look. my poster is 38" tall by 26" wide.

thanks a bunch, Al

Try "Michaels" if you have one near by....or a crafts store. They usually have custom framing, as well as, DIY framing available. The DIY is often in generic lengths, but perhaps it will be exactly what you need.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Go to the nearest theatre with a wonderbar and a good buzz. With any luck you'll get a set of back-lights too. With any luck you won't get any jewelry. Those bracelets realy hurt. On a more serious note any handy man with a mitre saw an alittle bit of know how could probably throw one together for 50$

Check out your local "Hobby Lobby" if you have one in your area. They have every kind of frame and will even custom build for you.:D

    Hey danger,

I buy a lot of frames to display photographs and usually get the metal sectional frames from a company called Light Impressions that specializes in archival photo products...but they sell frames too. The website is www.lightimpressionsdirect.com

Check out the Nielsen sectional frames. Style #11 is good for smaller stuff, but if you are using glass you might need to go with something a little sturdier and with a bigger slot (for glass, poster and backing material) like style 117 or 22...they cost more. For instance a black (or silver or grey) frame in your size would run you $15.12 for the pair of 36" lengths and $11.76 for the two 28" lengths and then a buck and a half for a frame kit (hardware). So you are talking like under 30 bucks plus shipping (obviously it pays to order in bulk).

If you are in no hurry call them at 800 828 626 and tell them to send you a catalog. It shows all the colors etc.
