Hello everyone I'm new to the Polk Forum, but have been an audiophile since the day before forever I now have a pair of SDA 1A's nothing is wrong with the pair of speakers, however I would like to know if anyone know of a person or a specialty store who rebuid xovers replacing the caps etc........ with the persons or person phone number I jus want to upgrade my speakers Thanks !

If they're anything like the split boards on a 1B, they're a piece of cake. Buy the Mills resistors, the ERSE resistors are physically larger and harder to place on the circuit board.

This one would work but would probably look different. Most SDA1's came with passives that had the foam on the fronts. If i remember right. the one pictured in ebay will have a plasticy front which would work but would look out of place unless you get a pair. I believe the ebay passive is SW121 which came later on the SDA1C -

good call Jesse I missed that i just seen the weight. Am I wrong did they not have different
SW numbers I have both styles but thought they had different SW #'s???
