NAD T-753 Receiver - Problems

Hello,

My NAD T-753 is not functioning right. When I want to listen to music no audio comes out even though I can see that the receiver is receiving the signal for music. However, if I press, for a while, back and forth the A Speaker and B Speaker buttons I manage to get it to work. Sometimes only the sound from the subwoofer comes out before coming from the speakers.

I called NAD and they said that something is wrong with the unit. I called an authorized service center and they charge $140 for evaluating the problem (the fee goes then towards the final repair price)

Any idea of what is going on with the receiver?

Is it worth repairing it considering that it will be probably be north of $250 or $350?

Google it and check for yourself. Those have a bunch of problems also some NAD service centers have stopped working on some of the T-series because of cost of repairs when out of warranty.
