Couple quick questions.
1. I have never heard any SDA models of any kind but read about the SD effect on here. What is meant by that and how are the speakers different fron non-SDA speakers?
2. Does the quality of the speaker wires really matter.
(Just kidding on that last one)

Although this is a set up for the newer Polk Soundbar Tech. It also covers and describes what the SDA effect is, how it is achieved and why it was necessary in the early part of the paper.

Thanks for the link, cnh. Great article. I won't pretend to understand all of it but it does clear up some of of the questions I had about why so many people are in love with SDA's and why they play around with modifications.
I wonder how the soundbar actually sounds. -
