Just wanted to get everyones thoughts on what speaker would be best for surrounds. I currently have R20 as rears and found a pair of FXI30's at futureshop for $350 includ. tax (Can$) Would it be worthwhile getting the FXI30's or are they essentially the same speaker as the R20, and also do you think I will hear a difference between them?

Currently I am running:
Fronts: RTI38
Center: CSI30
Rear: R20
Rear center: CSI30
Sub: PSW202
REceiver: Yamaha 5560

thanks alot

interesting question. i'm in somewhat the same boat. I currently have R20's in the back and am debating buying Fxi30's.

personally i'm leaning towards just keeping my R20's. In the past month or two i've bought RTi70's and an CSi40. I do really enjoy them but I just can't imagine the Fxi30's giving me the same sense of being a "worthwhile" uprade.

I'd go for the FXi's. Only reason being is timbre matching. How much will you notice? Beats the hell outta me.... but for bout $250 American it's a good deal. Too bad you cant find em for $70-75 per like a few of us did a while back at CC.
