Cannons used in the civil war maybe. But that would be a daytime activity.

The Starr Hill brewery is there. I think they've changed facilities since I was last there. They make some decent brews. I especially like the Northern Lights IPA. They've got a hippy kinda vibe... they also have a Dark Starr Stout.

Yeah, you just know most hookers smoke after they've conducted their "business"! You just want her for her cigarettes, don't you?!

We're onto you. You should be ashamed!

Nice little college in town :-)
(my son's in grad school there)
It is a nice little city in a beautiful area. Go to Monticello!
The Blue Ridge Parkway's just a hoot and a holler* away, too.

Lots of good places to eat; a tourist trap open air mall near downtown; nice farmer's market on Saturdays.
Plenty of vineyards in the general vicinity.

If you see this guy ambling around with a large camera (or a bevy of smaller ones) smile, wave, honk your horn.... maybe he'll take your photo...

Take a look at his photoblog, too, for C-ville area photos :-)

Got out and crushed the town a bit this afternoon. Going to dinner here in a bit with some coworkers, but tomorrow night sounds like it'll be dedicated to work. Meh. Thanks for the suggestions, and Teekay, thanks for your support!!
