So I acquired a M1.0t from another forum and finally got the chance to get it hooked up. It sounds RIDICULOUS on my LSi 15's and I am very much enjoying it. I took a bunch of SUPER High Def pictures of the internals just to document em and prove it did indeed happen :lol::lol: .

They are here: http://s715.photobucket.com/albums/ww153/n00bWantingToLearn/Carver%20M10t/

I am looking forward to getting some more of these puppies for my other channels (probably another M1.0t for my center and a passive sub and a M0.5t for my surrounds) as I think I am hooked on them.

OCCD has TAKEN OVER:eek::eek::eek::eek:!!!!!

    Good for you Dan. It's really about time too.

    Nice pics. I now see what you meant by the binding posts.

    :smile:. Yeah, pictures say 1k words right :razz:. Having some trouble with noise in the right channel that is more than we talked about earlier Drenis. At this point its probably me trying to use too thick of a gauge wire (2 strands of 14/4 per connector), so I am going to use some other standard 16 gauge wire I have later tomorrow to mess with it.

    I assume that will fix the situation. I am hoping thats all it is :smile:.

    Either way hoping to get the binding posts upgraded first... That or sell the EXp1 speaker wires :eek::eek::eek:

    I highly doubt that. Try twisting the RCA's with the amp off clockwise while pressing in. However, the amp MAY just need to be serviced. Maybe the original owner knew of the static? I don't know bud...

    Drenis you are right. I tried some standard wire and still got the noise. Still looking into it. Thankfully I still have the 705x for now.

    I added some pictures to the album above of the front and back of the RCA input board.... if anyone here see's anything obviously wrong let me know...

    There is a guy in town that has looked at stuff for me before.... I might give him a call tomorrow and get his thoughts....

    LOL. My sights may be set on those but my pocketbook is set on what I have now. I did get to hear a set of those when John owned them on his MMG's, 2.3's and LSi 15's.... man were they sweet!!!!!!!!

    Going to send the amp to the great guys at VINTAGE HI-FI PITTSBURG to take a look at for me and give it the once over. Then probably sending the AV-705x that way as well just for peace of mind....
