Solid piece. Just replaced the fuses and it sounds really nice. I am upgrading to a 545 for a little more juice (even though I really don't need it) so this one needs to go.

Has some scratches, but nothing really deep. No dents or dings. Sounds great!

Special polkie price. Don't join the forum just to buy this. These go for 140 plus shipping on audiogon.

$135 Shipped via fedex ground CONUS

Please pay via paypal either gift, free bank transfer, or cover the credit card fees. I will also accept a USPS MO.

Thanks!

Is the Adcoms 60 wpc enough juice to power a single pair of Sda CRS+'s with out issues ? I have heard these Adcoms pack a wallop and that thier wpc rating is under estimated? Looking for another amp for these.

Yes... you should be able to power them fine unless you like ear splitting levels

thx trey. I honestly didn't know the answer. All I know is that the stereophile review claims its really 80 wpc. and that it sounds really good for such a little amp!

More than enough ooomph, unless you are trying fill a huge room with vaulted ceilings. But then the speakers would also be in a mis-matched room as well.

They are rated at 60wpc but in reality put out closer to 80-90wpc. The 535 has a seperate transformer for each channel, no other early Adcom's do. It's a pair of old iron core tranny's whereas the 535, 555, 585, 565 all have torrids.

Thanks for the answer, Trey, and H9, is it safe to assume then that this is a common ground amp? If so I am thinking pretty much about getting this from rooftop59. The area this will be set up in is a bar area in the basement so won't be needing ear splitting levels, I have another set up for that, thanks for the advice guys, as I have yet to see any used ad adcoms in this area.

not too often.... there were two 545 II in Mason City/Rochester CL last month for $150/ea and every once in a while one will show up in Des Moines. but i am beginning to think this is a Kenwood/Pioneer only state.

This was sold to gudnoyez, but due in part to a series of my blunders that ended with FedEx damaging the package, I refunded his money and he voluntarily paid to ship the amp back to me. I want to publicly thank Steve for his understanding. I have never had this happen on club polk before and promise that as far as it is up to me it won't happen again. So now Steve has an adcom preamp and he needs a matching amp! Someone help a brother out!

    Thanks,
    Paul
