RDO-194 and Monitor 5b's...Good match?

Anyone know if the RDO-194's are a good replacement for the Sl-2000's in the 5b..??

    From what I read, yes, replacement tweeters for SL-2000 (silver dome) are RDO-194.

    Some threads mention they really shine with crossover upgrade but it should be an improvement even without new caps.

    They will be an absolute improvement over the SL2000's even without upgrading the crossovers.

    I'd be happy to help you with the soldering. I'm definately not a pro but some recent work removing the polys on my second set of 1Cs turned out pretty nice. Let me know. I also think vr3 does it for a very nice price.
