Ever see a swarm of dragonflies?

Went out onto my back patio and there was a 'swarm' of dragonflies - not the tiny ones, the big ones...about 20-30 all hovering and dodging each other....weird....:eek:

H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.

    I was curious about this as well. Dragonflies can symbolize a number of things, good luck and change being a couple of them. :cool:

    I have seen them swarm for a few years now at work, they are always around my truck!!!! no other vehicle in the lot just mine.
    Is that weird are what?

    We had this happen to us in our front yard a couple of years ago. It was really cool, especially to stand in the middle of it and hear them buzz past your ears and land on you for a couple seconds, then fly off again.

    It's usually a "feeding frenzy" that causes these swarms. The dragonfly is the most manuverable creature on earth. The turns they can do are amazing to watch. They are excellent controllers of "pest" insects. They are nice to look at as well.
