Dual Subs stereo Amp question

Hello ya all. I have two Polk RM1000W subs wired in a mono configuration, My DTR-50.1 has dual subwoofer outputs, My question is if I use one output for one channel and the other output for the second channel would I still be maintaining a Mono sound through both channels of a stereo amplifier? Common sense tells me yes, Because the amp is going to put out whatever signal you feed it no matter what channel R of L it is plugged into? Would you agree with this? Thank you all for your help, Glad you are all here.

You'll have to read the manual.
It is not clear to me in reading some of Integra's non-plain English manuals how the subwoofer connections work if you have two subwoofers.
For movies, clearly the .1 (LFE) channel is 'mono' so with two subs the same signal is sent regardless of Left or Right designations.
However, for a stereo source, it is not clear, to me at least, if sub output1=L and sub output2=R.

Dual subs is simply an internal y splitter so it's the same signal to both."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963)

Thank you, I figured they were the same mono output, if I run one RCA from sub out to the right channel and one from the other sub out to the left channel of a stereo amplifier, Will I get two mono channels working at the same time? not in stereo?

In the case of an 'old fashioned' two channel stereo amplifier with L & R preouts - your left sub will get the left signal and the right sub will get the right signal, so each sub by itself will get a 'mono' signal and together they will form a stereo presentation (just like regular speakers for left and right).

Yes in the case of traditional r, and L, pre outs. These are subwoofer outputs not the usual r and L, So would the Inputs on a traditional amp R and L be Playing two subwoofers as two Mono outputs simultaneously.? SUB out 1 to right input, SUB out 2 to left input.

The Quick setup for the DTR-50.1 says the same signal is sent to both Subwoofer jacks. So both are mono. So either one can go to either input on the amp. THe amp does not "know" if the signal is L or R, it just sends it down the line.

Page #17 of your users manual shows two subwoofers, each connected to a subwoofer out jack, or in your case to the amp powering the Subs... You should be good to go
