Cabinet Design For Center Channel Speaker

I am toying with the idea of a DIY Project to build my own center channel speaker.
I have in my 'parts room' 4 MW6500's, 2 MW6502's, a peerless tweeter (one), and a pair of tweeters from a pair of 5jrs.
I also have 2 RTA12 x-overs (Original, not B or C), a top RTA12B x-over (missing the bottom portion from inside the cabinet), a pair of M5 crossovers (1979), and a pair of crossovers from 5jr's.
I am leaning toward using a pair of MW6500's and the peerless tweeter, and saving the other parts for other surround speakers. I also have enough spare cherry veneer to wrap it in cherry!
I am leaning towards the same size as an LSI706c. I don't much about actual cabinet design, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I do have access to CNC machines, etc, so fit and finish would be as good as any factory, I would really like help on the cabinet design itself.
Thanks!
