Ok first up are a pair of Mullard 10M Master series 12AX7's the print is wearing off of these which is normal for the 10M Master series tubes these both test well over average NOS these are hands down the best sounding of any 12AX7 I have ever heard including the insanely expensive Telefunken 803S type, they have virtually all the clarity and detail the Telefunken tube does but have a warmth that is lacking in the Telefunken, Doctor R bought a pair of Mullard 10M 12At7's from me and understands what I am saying, feel free to contact him if you want his oppinion. $250.00 plus $5.35 shipping

Second up are a pair of RCA Black plate D getter tubes from 1956 these are the finest USA made 12AX7's money can buy IMHO they have all most perfect print and also test well over NOS range. $80.00 plus $5.35 shipping.

I also have a quad of early GA2 series ECC88/6DJ8 Amperex slant D getter tubes from the late 50's the lettering has been completely wiped clean, these are untested but guarnteed to be good tubes or your money back $100.00 plus $5.35 shipping I have seen these sell for $75-$100.00 each on Ebay

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Thanks Mike I will get these out to you. I think you will like these if I remember the test scores correctly they tested at 2150/2150-2200/2150 so not only well over NOS average but a pretty well matched pair.

If you don't mind after you listen to them for a while let me know what your thoughts are, it will be interesting to see if they match mine.

Received the RCA's in short order. They are a beautiful example of a matched pair of nos tubes.

Thanks Dan for a perfect transaction and an even better pair of tubes.

Good to hear they arrived safely and your happy. Rick sent me a PM also stating he had received his 12AX7's also and was pleased, the quad of Early series GA2 ECC88/6DJ8's have been sold also so if the mods wish this thread can be marked as sold.

I do have 3 pair of GA4 series Amperex ECC88/6DJ8's with Halo getters that have been tested as good if anyone is interested let me know and I will put a FS ad for you.
