Lets try this again. For Sale a very nice Harman Kardon PM665 integrated amp. Made by HK 1985-87. These sold for almost $800 new , my reserven is around 1/4 of that. This is not some garage sale/ pawn shop find, it is my own personal unit and is treated as such. This is a dual transformer, twin power, 100 watt per channel high current integrated amp. Features bass and treble turnovers with tone defeat, high and low filters, mode switch, -20 db muting, and separate pre-amp/power amp connections. Will handle 2 sets of speakers, 2 tape decks, 2 turntables (MM & MC), CD and video (audio part only). The condition of the unit is very nice with a very clean face plate. The top grill has a few dings in it from items being placed on it. All buttons and switches work as they should and have been cleaned. The unit does have one quirk which is just an FYI type thing: if the volume control is banged against the 0 (off) position, the channel balance will shift slightly. This can be corrected by turning the unit off, bumping the volume control against its max setting, which will shift the balance the other way. Then turn the unit back on and tap against the 0 position until the balance is centered. This amp uses a high quality ALPS volume control so not sure what happened. Another option is to just turn the balance control. Again, this is NOT AN ISSUE if you do not slam it against the 0 position. If you do, it can be easily rectified. One other thing ? the original power cord has been repaired as I used a detachable power cord with my gear. All in all ? it is a very nice sounding, very nice looking, and well-functioning piece. Check my feedback Asking $179 Thanks,Keith
