Any one else happy to see them go down? I am. They walked into that series like they all ready had it won. I bleive their fans thaught so too. Good for the under dog.

    never really watched baseball, but got into it this year and it was nice to see the marlins win, and besides my friend is a huge yankee's fan so i got to rub it in:D

    Yah! Me too. nobody deserves it more than George. Do you think George Steinbrener and Jerry Jones are brothers. They sure act the same. Just my opinion.

    I heard the last time the Yanks lost the world series at home was in 1981. Steinbrenner apparently made a public apology to the city of New York for the teams sub-par performance.

    Ya think he'll do it this time?

    I think he'll throw a fit like a baby and start firing management, beginning with Torre!

    It just occured to me. George reminds me of your typical Bose owner. He paid alot for his system. It was highly advertised and raved over by critics. It was supposed to be the best but when he got it home it just didn't work. Now he feels like he has to apologize out of embarassment because he is so vane. Josh Becket for president. Sorry for the Bose comment F1nut. Just my opinion.
