So I decided to make the connector on this player further apart and it turned out pretty well.

See here are the wires connected to the board, ground to the right, left and right channel on the left, green is the left channel. I had to take the whole disc tray out to get the board out! what a mess.

Here, the wires soldered onto the jacks when done:)

Finished product, doesn't look too bad. You may notice some messy looking spots around the jacks, that's because where the L and R is is a plastic sheet hiding some other kind of terminal somethings that this model apparently didn't come with.

The whole real reason behind putting these jacks on, there are much further apart now just the way I like them! Now it looks like the back of a high end player lol.

I'll be doing this to my Denon DVD 2800 some time pretty soon, as this did not take very long to do. I got the jacks off partsexpress.
