My city of Jasper was just put on a MADITORY WATER CONASERVATION DECLARATION today. WE have not had rain
for months and our water supply is now low, the river that supplies us with water is dang near dry and no water
getting to the pumps.
It's a $100 dollar fine for the 1st time , $200 for the 2nd and then your untilities shut off for the 3rd if they catch you
using water to water plants, wash cars etc.. I just planted $800 worth of trees and plants and now I was told I must watch them DIE!!!!
My daughter is so sad because she helped me plant most of them and water every night for the past month. She
is only 5 and can't under stand.

I know there is a lot of other bad things going on in the world and it could be worse. I will do what I can to try and save atleast the trees.

On another note as bad as it is they are allowing camp fires this weekend and fireworks... CRAZY!!!

It was getting bad here in SW Ohio too. Today we had a "frogstrangler" out of the blue. Caught everyone by surprise and was accompanied by 80mph winds. WEIRD! They had to cancel the Tatoo at Wright Patterson AFB as the 100k jumbotron split into four pieces and sent a couple of workers to the hospital.

The temp was 107 today and they are calling for triple digits all next week. Thursday was 106 and the breeze that we did have was like standing infront of a big hair dryer on HIGH HOT!!!! VERY DRY

Can't imagine how that must be.

We had one of the driest summers ever last year here. The majority of my lawn was yellow for the year. It was so dry some foundations for homes started splitting away from the earth. You could literally shove your hand between the dry earth and the foundation. My old home shifted a bit as a result.

If you guys haven't had rain for months I hate to ask, but why did you plant trees? This isn't a new home by chance is it? Some cities will have a clause for new construction.
