Thanks for the offer. I've read that your mods makes a big improvement, ball park cost for parts?

    Thanks Roger

So hooked up the new tweeters and nothing. Tried then on the upstairs rig to make sure it wasn't the avr and still nothing.

Any suggestions before I exchange then.

    Thanks Roger

I read this as you took the new tweeters and tested them by themselves to see if they worked. Others read it diffrently I see. You lugged the speakers with new tweeters upstairs? please answer this. tweeters or whole speakers or did you bring the upstairs rig down ?

So I have the Rti A7 crossovers back from Trey / Vr3 with the Fortress modifications done the workmanship is first rate; Excellent work Trey

I when home and installed then right away I'm quite fortunate to have a job that is close to home and flexible enough to allow me to do this:biggrin:

Well I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this modification I knew that burn in time was required so I threw on some Joe Crocker just for a quick listen it was a very nice and pleasantly smooth sounding.

That was on Monday on Tuesday I had time to listen for over an hour same smooth absolutely no harshness at all.

I should point out that I have then on since I installed just at low volumes playing some SB radio station to help with the burn in.

Before the mod I would get a little tried I guess the word is fatigued after listening for a long time; I know an hour is not a long time but it don't appear I will have that issue anymore.

So far I'm quite impressed with the results and as the burn in progresses I'm looking forward to these improving and sounding better although if they don't change I'm all right with then as they are as they sound great.

Thanks Trey awesome dealing with you.

    Cheers Roger
