    Just to clarify.... WHFS was in Bethesda. A pretty long way, both by car and by philosophy, from B-more.
    And a wonderful radio station it was, for a long, long time! :-)

    Lowell George - his shoe size is where the name Little Feat came from.

    Loved the Feat with him - just as much after he died way too young. To me the death of Richie Hayward, their long time and original drummer, is bigger. A truly unique voice on his instrument and an integral part of their signature sound.

    Still listen to Waiting for Columbus regularly.
