Soundbar 6000 set up question

I think I may have made a mistake when buying the pieces for my home theater--I didn't realize that the Soundbar is supposed to be plugged in to the Tv and not an avr. So here's what I have:
Tv: Panasonic tcp65gt30
Avr: Yamaha rxv373
Soundbar 6000
Rear speakers: wireless fx surround
Cable box, br/Dvd, xbox.
I cannot figure out how to hook everything up! When I just plug the Tv into the SB using the digital audio cable, it works just fine. But how do I connect everything else? I'm sorry if this is really basic, this isn't really my thing--I would just get a theater in a box if it were up to me, but my husband likes better sound (although he didn't have time to research the components and would be hopeless in setting them up!!! I'd like to keep what I have unless it will totally not work, as I bought it online and it will cost a lot to return stuff. I'm confused by Arc --the receiver says to attach it to the Tv via hdmi with arc and then all of the inputs (cable, dvd, xbox) hook into the receiver--but how do I get the sound from the receiver to the Sb??? Arghhh!! Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello minxieton,
Hello, welcome to Polk's forum. It is probably a good idea to give Polk's customer service folks a call at 1-800-377-7655, today after 9:00AM. I know they can be of help.
Cheers, Ken
