Infinity Renaissance 80 in SOCAL

Up for sale is a pair of Infinity Renaissance 80's, the last iteration of ribbon speakers which made Infinity so famous. The cabinets are in fair condition with scratches and nicks here and there. However, the face is relatively clean. One of the EMIM's however is damaged. There are magnets in front which are misaligned which can be realigned by constructing a jig and moving them back. However, I will not try and do this. The sound is still fantastic, so I can't really attribute any degradation of sound due to the misaligned magnet. Of course you'll have to decide for yourself whether the damage drastically affects the sound. Price reflects this accordingly.
This is a very rare specimen and rarely comes up for sale. Pretty much the last of the great infinity's.

Sexy! Are the triangular cabinets designed for corners?
I believe the Infinity engineers tried to incorporate the latest technology into these speakers and the trapezoidal shape was to reduce parallel surfaces within the speaker.2Ch Tube Audio Convert
