Either Iron Man is good, I also liked Super 8 and Shooter.

Then there's Cloverfield, that ends up near the top of most everyone's list.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

Lord of the rings "The fellowship of the ring"

I love the opening sceen. Center channel dialog and then the Subwoofer test comes. Then the ambiance of the meetings and the fireworks all around the room. All in ten minutes or so.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

If you are more interested in good sound than just explosions then get this concert Bluray by Sade. I watched it Friday night in LPCM stereo, and Saturday night in DTS-HD 5.1, and it is great. Of course, if you do not like her then it does not really matter how good it sounds.

Hey Mike, so what is the status of your gear now? Do you have everything up and running? I hope that is the case, if yes: have you test it already? What do you think?

HBO's Band of Brothers series is pretty good for home theatre.
