Hello!

I just upgraded my system and found RTi A7's for 500/pair on craigslist.
Currently I am running a Onkyo SR608 with a M-282 to power the A7's

The CSi A6 caught my eye but I am also looking at the A4. I am also looking at FXi A4's but am also considering the A6's. I'm not sure if these are better over the RTi A3's for surround though. I wanted to go with a two sub setup and was looking at two DSW Pro500's but am open to other suggestions. Is this overkill for my room? Also are 14 gage wire good enough?

The room is a 16x16 with 10 foot ceiling. This setup is mainly for moving watching.

Thank you again for any help!

    Welcome to Club Polk!

Regarding the sub - I REALLY like the DSW PRO 500 and I think one of them might be enough for your room size. At least I'd start with one and add one if you think it's necessary. Also, RIGHT NOW the DSWPRO 550wi (exact same thing as the DSWPRO 500, except the 550wi has wireless capability with the addition of an optional adapter) is on sale at Newegg.com for $280 with free shipping. Sometimes they run these weekend sales, so I don't know how long that'll last.

And yes, 14 AWG speaker wire should be just fine for you for that size of a room.

Don't know anything about the RTiA line, but there's lots of folks here that do.

If you have the room, get the CSi A6 for your center. Also better off with the FXi's for surround IMO, allthough the RTi a1's or 3 make a nice setup as well. Can't go wrong either way. Enjoy your new setup and welcome to CP.
