Bunch of Polk Speakers

All items are available to pick up in Columbus, OH.
First up is a pair of Polk RTE1000P speakers in real wood veneer, something you rarely see. These feature a powered subwoofer in each tower and sound absolutely awesome! I purchased these around four years ago and never used them, besides hooking them up to test them. They were intended for a bedroom setup but after going with in-ceilings they were never used.
I would rate them a 6-7 condition, only because the tops have some minor stains on them (which can likely be sanded out and refinished, if you're that anal) and the one tweeter has a small crease in it, which I can't tell by listening. Otherwise, they are some great looking and sounding speakers. I'd like to get $200 for the pair.
Next up for sale is a single Polk LSi9 speaker in ebony, which would make a great center channel. I have no idea where the grille went to it and looked feverishly for it but came up empty handed. I'm very organized but this has me baffled! Condition would be an 8-8.5 due to a few small scuffs that you can see in these pictures. They really don't stand out in person. I'm selling this for $175.
Moving on we have a pair of Polk RTi70 speakers in ebony. These are in 8.5-9 condition and are currently boxed up. I dislocated my wrist a few days ago and have an MRI scheduled next week so I can't be taking them out for pictures. They are in very good condition and are excellent speakers. Asking for $225 for the pair.

Finally, I have a Polk PSW450 in 8-8.5 condition. This is in my dimly lit basement and, again, I can't carry it upstairs for a picture. It's in very good condition and sounds wonderful. Asking $125.

I just noticed this is a local sale. Let me know if you open up to shipping

I've had a few inquiries about shipping. I've listed these for a local sale only. If they don't sell in the next few days I'll offer to ship in order of request.

Where you at, VTO? I will be driving by columbus july 6 or 7 (probably) and then west, so if you are anywhere along I70 I might be able to help out with delivery. I am heading to Colorado with a moving van. PM me if you want any further info, or see my thread somewhere in the clubhouse about "polk express help".
Also, Maz, keep this in mind if you have potential buyers along my route. I'd like to help if I can.

Go Bucks! Football season is getting close. Man, I can't wait! -
If I weren't making a big subwoofer purchase this weekend I might be interested in the LSi9 but the wife would kill me if I asked to buy something else especially considering my basement is nowhere near completion.

I'm not moving to Colorado, I already live here. My parents both passed away last year, and I need to get stuff from their home so my sister and I can get it on the market. So, I am getting a one-way truck rental to get that stuff out here.
I live about 15 or so miles west of the Waldo Canyon fire; my home is really not at risk right now, but the fire is only about a mile and a half from my office, so I'm a little bit nervous about that right now. BUT, I think today they were able to beef up the containment line on the side toward Woodland Park (my office), so we feel better about that right now.
The High Park fire is much bigger, but the Waldo Canyon is much closer to a major population center (Colorado Springs), so they both are getting a lot of attention right now.
Sorry to threadjack, keep calm and carry on."Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason." -

Hello all! Had some serious stuff happen in real life but I'm back. The LSi9 is still available and I will be PMing the first in line. Carl, the Pony Express just told me he will be coming to your neck of the woods next weekend. I will get in touch with you later in the week to confirm.
Thanks. -

rt1000 still for sale and would you consider shipping ill pay the extra crating and shipping let me know
-
Im interested in the 1000s as well. Im leaving apartment life so its time to finally go 3.1 to 5.1. I live near Pittsburgh so shipping shouldnt be too insane. Why am I interested? Because my current mains are wood veneer rte600's. Marrying the two would be epically rare lol!

Maz,
The Polk sub was delivered this morning when I met the courier at his motel. Turns out he was staying about a mile and a half from my house. Thanks for arranging the Pony Express.
The sub is in nice shape. Maybe I should have him bring the RTi70s on his next trip. LOLMain System:
