Inherited my dad's Bulova watch when he passed, never wore it as I am not fond of the gold color. Watch ran fine in the drawer for quite some time but now it has stopped. Its a 97C48, which i have googled and researched but have been unable to find out how to get it going again. On the Bulova site all it says is to wind it 6-7 times before your everyday movement being on your wrist will keep it going. Cool..but how do you wind it..? The crown only pulls out one click which is to set the time...
thanks for any info you can give me..

My info is that I'd take it to a watchmaker if it my father's watch.

You don't like GOLD! Hmmm...definitely haven't spent time in the Mob or Vegas! lol
Have you checked to see if it has more than one click or if it will wind "before" or "after" you get to the click? Just a guess. gdb is probably right about finding a watch guy, though!

You should be able to wind it by turning the crown. You shouldn't have to pull it out to wind it.

Well, thats what I thought but turning the crown does not do anything....Computer room Hegeman 1 SpeakersM&K VX-80 subKenwood DP-7010Cambridge Audio CXC Transport Rega DACPrimaLuna Prologue Four AmpAric Audio Tube PreampGarage Jennings Research SquareCustom tube preampCrown XLS-1000Denon DCD-1500II Modded MSB Link DAC
