If anyone has some suggestions for a cheap laptop then they would be greatly appreciated. I need a laptop for the odd netflix movie and listening to some music on, I know your not going to get anything great at this price but what would be decent ?

Buy one of Cokewithvanilla's used laptops when he has them available for $155. Great unit for the price and would do netflix and web surfing justice no problem.

Just buy a used one for a couple hundred. You will just end up spilling coffee on it anyway so why waste money on a new one?

if that's all you need why not look at a tablet? Most of the pitons out there are around that price, do everything you listed, and are much more convenient than a laptop.

Or you can buy a chrome notebook, it also can satisfy your need well, see here, the chrome notebook has a Solid-State Hard Drive, your system will run more faster in it.

For laptop bargains, just go to Dealnews.com or Slickdeals.net or Techbargains.com. Tons of killer deals all the time, including whatever BB or Dell might have on sale. Best way to pick a winner, IMO.
