Portable DVD Player & Headrest Monitors

I'm looking for a dual screen portable DVD system for my kids on our summer vacation. Since they all seem to cost over $100 I came across headrest monitors for a similar cost. We already have a single "laptop" style portable DVD player so we could use that as our source to feed the headrest monitors. So I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with headrest monitors like these

Using these seems like a better solution than some clunky monstrosity strapped to the back of our headrests. Plus you have to take the player off the headrest to change discs, which is a PITA for my wife. Anyone try something like this?

Because they must be entertained at ALL times. I believe my daughter has that exact model and loves it for her little screamers. Why not make the kiddies look out the window at the world going by instead ??
