Hello, welcome to club polk. I have no experience with the tsi 500. If you go up to the top of the page there is a button labeled products if you hover your pointer over it a drop down menu will drop down. Now hover over home audio and a side menu will pop out, click on floorstanding.

On the next page about 3/4 of the way down you will see a box with different speakers in it, you will want to click on the one labeled tsi. From there you now want to click on the picture that is about 3/4 of the way down the page, near the middle of the page side to side that has the labele tsi 500 to the right of it.

On this next page you can see reviews, tech specs and other relevant information. The only way to truly know if a speaker is going to provide you the sound you are looking for is to hear it for yourself in an environment that is similar to the one you intend to use the system in. If you want reply's from people who own them you may want to reword the title something like "Question for those who own the TSi500?" . And then in the body describe what type of information you would like to know about the speaker and it's intended use be it 2channel or home theater. A room description would also help.

I am in no way trying to be rude or condescending, I know things can seem harsher than they are meant over the interwebs. And like I said welcome to club polk.

I had the Monitor 70's for quite awhile, equivalent to the TSi500's. I hear the TSi's sound just a tad bit better and I loved my M70's. They love lots of power though. The more you feed them, the better they sound.

    Welcome to the club.
