Well if you have, I will be meeting with the owner and starting to work with him on Monday. I have a ton to learn, but it's what I have been wanting to do for a long time. I am super stoked and eager to start this new adventure. I am very optimistic that this is what I have been waiting for. So send him your stuff, I'm eager to get working, oh wait there is plenty of work to be done there first. Who knows I may even be able to get my ears on a vintage set of Klipshs. The fun is about to start for me boys and girls and I feel I will be learning from someone who has a wealth of knowledge and experience. If you're not in the know, google Nos Valves and/or Craig Ostby. Wish me luck!

Greetings Dude!
Craig is very popular at the AK forum. He is considered the resident Scott electronics expert. He has his supporters and his critics. I have no experience with him. Many people love his work and he is always there to offer advice to a Scott owner in need of repair. He can be opinionated which rubs some people the wrong way. I think you should be open minded and judge for yourself.
Good luck!!Carl -
Oh...I'm not asking for opinions..just wanted to get peoples attention. I had talked to him on the phone for a bit this morning, and I think we will mesh fine. Everyone has opinions, some just are more passionate about them or less open minded to others opinions. All in all I really feel this is going to be a good thing. I did a little research last night and read through some of the post he has made over at ak, aa and the klipsh forums. I got into the true audio game late enough in life that I am very open minded, and not set on "this is the only way to do it" mind set.
I've still got the full on internal happy dance going on.
As much as I wouldn't mind it, I hope we don't get too caught up on audio talk.
Don't worry, the polks are here to stay no matter where my audio journey takes me. I can't wait to get my ears on some tube, or behind my SDA's for that matter. -
Congrats on the new career! Hope it's everything you're looking for."Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer

Craig is a good guy and talented as well. It's nice to hear that he's got enough business/income to support a hired hand!
He did the amplifier restoration on my Fisher 500C (Mike of "RadioX" did the tuner section). -
Congrats bud! Good to hear you're going to do something you love. And that's very important.
I would love to work in the audio industry. -

It was a fluke, he was looking through Resumes on the Michigan talent bank, and sent me an e-mail...it was totally out of the blue. Is it Monday yet, this is going to be a long weekend. -
