I came across a used 2001 BMW 320 ci. It has 97,000 mile on it, it's in exc. condition. It's silver w/ grey int. has a
HK sound system and a automatic trans. The seller wants $10,500 but was wondering if a good deal, any BMW fans
that know the cars well?
The car is pretty sharp.

How much snow do you get there? If I remember correctly, the ci is a rear-wheel drive model. I drove an si model in the '90s and it was great when I lived down south, but when I moved back to snow country, it sucked bad! If you get much snow/ice, I'd only even consider one of the AWD models.
Also, get used to being "an asterisk driver" - whenever you see an advertisement from any garage for parts and/or services and a quoted price, followed by an asterisk, you're one of those that's excluded. eg. Midas Mufflers and Brakes ad: "Lifetime Guaranteed Muffler - $49.95* installed!" - "Oh, you drive a BMW 320ci? Yes, we have that muffler......that'll be $219.95" New air filter - $6.99*; for BMW 320ci - $28.95!, etc., etc. -

never really know how much snow we get in southern part of Indiana, last year it was very mild but a few years
back it was bad. I dont want to get screwed when I need service done so maybe I'll re think this.

The only thing I can say about BMW is that the repairs will cost you. Great cars, but parts are really expensive. I've own both BMW and Mercedes and the star logo is way cheaper to maintain. Would suggest a newer model if the funds permit, plus run a Carfax on it. Just don't want to hear a horror story bro. Do your homework on that specific model. I had a 745i, so naturally the flagships will cost.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
