TSi 400 for Yamaha Rxv 365 or Tsi 500

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and I would like to join this forum with a question on Tsi 400.
I am from India and I am planning to buy Tsi 400 .Now that I do have the doubt about my receiver whether it can handle this.
My configs are
Yahama RXv 365 old receiver, 100W/channel @8 ohms.
surround :Sony SSB 1000
Sub : Sony SA-W2500 -100 W.
Center :Polk CS1.

So I am doubting whether the receiver will be capable of driving all these and can i still stick to TSi 400 considering the sub power which is only 100W.

Should I replace the sub or go for the TSi500 insted of 400.
Here in india the diff between the 2 will be around 11000 Indian Rupee which comes to around (US200$)

Whats opinion of everyone. What all changes are needed ..
Dont push for big changes

Your receiver will be fine with either choice. The center I would bump to the cs20 and save some coin for a better subwoofer. The Sony is going to sound slow and flabby with the Polks. Just my opinion bro, and welcome to the club too.

For the time being I have no plans to change the sony sub woofer

That all depends on you I guess. If your happy with it, rock on. Maybe get an ear on some better subs, that's the only way to realize what your missing. We all do what we can with the wallet given us, cruise our FM section for some good used deals, Audiogon.com, or your local craigslist if and when you ever decide to upgrade. As long as your happy, we're happy.
